AN OVERVIEW OF THE NATURE OF THE JOB

It is very good you have a picture of what this job is all about before applying for it; so here below are the nature of the job and the possible duties you would be required to perform.

• You would be expected to exercise the authorities and powers of the Anambara State Agency (SA) according to section 4.3 of the Project Implementation Manual.

• You will be in Control of the general administration of the CSDP.

• You will manage SA personnel.

• You will serve as an accounting Officer for the SA.

• It would be your duty to give approval for the proposal of CDP's as would be recommended by the SA management Committee'

• You would be expected to represent the SA in all its dealings with third parties at the level of management.

• You would be empowered to authorize expenditure as would be stipulated by the annual budget and work program of the SA as approved by Board of Directors (BOD).

• You are in-charge of conducting dialogue with donors and those capable of providing complimentary technical and administrative skills and financial resources.

• Delegate his authority to the staff of the Agency to the extent necessary for the effective performance of the activities of CSDP

• It is your duty to perform such other duties as may be required for the effective functioning of the SA and

• You must ensure regular reporting and adherence to the SA reporting relationship with the Project Financial Management Unit (PFMU)of the state.

If after reading the duties you would be required to perform and you think you can perform them effectively, check your CV and compare it with the required qualification criteria listed below:

• You must have a university degree in Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Engineering and/or any other relevant degree with at least fifteen years post-qualification experience in the private or public sector, five of which must be at management level.

• In addition, a higher degree and experience in the management of rural development projects shall be an added advantage.
