Jambs 2016 Cut-off Marks For All Varsities Out! - The number one body in-charge of admission Joint Admission and Matriculation Board popular addressed by its acronym JAMB has finalized all due process as regards preparation for the admission exercise of the year 2016.


The board have slated  June 2 as the date for its policy meeting and it is on this meeting that they will fix cut-off marks for all courses in the varsities.

This arrangement followed the completion of the JAMB Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination which was successfully implemented. The Minister Of Education Malam Adamu Adamu will be presided over the policy meeting to determine the guidelines for cut-off marks.

According to the statement by Dr. Fabian Benjamin as regards the the policy meeting, that the honorable Minister Of Education Malam Adamu Adamu will underscore the relevance of JAMB as body concerned with the decision-making on matters bordering on tertiary institutions admission and other issues which borders on the well-being of the system generally as vital issues will be discussed and effective decision will be taken.

He announced that this years policy meeting is slated to hold on June 2 and after the meeting the cut-marks for courses should be one of its outcome of the meeting. He went further to state that the Federal Government regulations and guidelines would be harmonised with better decision reached. There will also be analysis of the performance of the system so far.

Due to the crucial nature of this meeting the markers includes the Heads of all the tertiary institutions, such as the Vice-Chancellors, Rectors of all the polytechnics, Provosts of all Colleges, Registrar and other bodies which are expected in attendance are the National University Commission (NUC) and the National Youth Service Corps among others.

Following by this information all things being equal before June 3, 2016 JAMB cut-off mark for all courses in all Universities in Nigeria will be determined and released.
